Robert van Gool

Robert has been working with Theresa and the Cogenta team since 2010. He is a technology expert and relationship builder with 25+ years of marketing communications and media relations success. In his career he has built strategic communications programs from scratch and secured media placements in top tier business and trade magazines such as The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, TechCrunch, VentureBeat, Forbes, Fortune, Wired, Bloomberg, CNET, and many others. Robert’s areas of technology expertise include hardware, SaaS, enterprise, security, cleantech, networking, healthcare tech, online collaboration, cloud services, automotive, gaming, deep neural networking, artificial intelligence, AR/VR and unmanned systems. Along the way, Robert co-founded an automotive systems integration company and a hit making video game studio where he developed and published over 30 games and apps including the re-release of Q*bert, the 1980s arcade franchise. Robert previously worked at Niehaus Ryan Group's Global Interactive bureau, one of San Francisco's top high tech PR agencies where he led the online launch of the first Apple iMac.
